In commemoration of the MT-G series’ 20th Anniversary, G-SHOCK is proud to launch the MTG-B1000RB. The “Metal Twisted” G-SHOCK series is known for a construction built from metal and resin.
The limited edition MTG-B1000RB has a bezel plated with rainbow ions, with an intent to vividly refract light, mimicking that of a “lunar rainbow”, a treasured sight in the natural world. To further complement the piece, blue IP and gold colouration is used across various components of the watch such as the lug, band pieces, crown and front screw.
Design & Technology
Rainbow IP Rainbow IP is used on the bezel to express a lunar rainbow, a type of rainbow that is formed from the light of the moon. The colour gradations of the bezel are subtly different for each piece and are one-of-a-kind.
Core guard structureA box-shaped frame formed by screws that securely connect the bezel, case back and band connection pieces with a carbon fibre reinforced resin case. *Image shows MTG-B1000-1A.
Band structure The band, which contains parts that include fine resin, is connected firmly to the case by large bolts to achieve strength that connects to the case. *Image shows MTG-B1000-1A.
Triple G Resist The tough structure of the watch protects it from three types of gravitational acceleration: impact forces, centrifugal forces, and vibrations. *Image shows MTG-S1000D-1A
Super Illuminator (high-brightness LED) The LED illuminates the dial to ensure visibility in the dark.
